In November of last year, it was revealed that the new feature length film, “Goosebumps,” would be coming to Georgia to film. Since then, production has been taking place in and around the Conyers area since January of 2014.

The film is directed by Rob Letterman, whose other credits include “Gulliver’s Travels” (2010), “Monsters vs. Aliens” (2009) and “Shark Tale” (2004). The film is being produced by Sony Entertainment.

“Goosebumps” is headed by a lively cast, featuring Jack Black, playing the eccentric role of R.L. Stine. His co-stars include Odeya Rush (“The Odd Life of Timothy Green,” 2012), Dylan Minnette (“Prisoners,” 2013) (also a film native to Conyers), and Ryan Lee (“Super 8,” 2011). Other familiar stars include Ken Marino and Amy Ryan.

The “Goosebumps” filming headquarters is located at EMS Studios which is a 135,000sf facility which is located in Conyers, GA.

The film is set to release in Spring of 2015.
